Cisco China FY10 Partner Summit, with "Together We Lead" as its theme, was held from August 26 to 28, 2009 in Chengdu. ECCOM was invited for the summit, at which ECCOM held 1-1 meeting on the promotion of the business plans of FY10 with Cisco executives of various departments.
During the summit, Cisco shared with its partners the strategy and vision of FY10 Cisco in China, and the latest Cisco's global policies of further grounding in China, while discussed how to help the partner out of the financial crisis as well as how to grasp the commercial opportunities in new changes in the market. Cisco global Senior Vice President, Chairman and CEO of Cisco China, Cisco global vice president, vice chairman and president of Cisco China, Lin Zhenggang and Cisco global vice president and chief operating officer David Rubio as well as the related Sichuan Provincial Government officials attended the event.
At the meeting, Cisco proposed an architecture-driven marketing model, namely, a marketing network architecture focusing on collaboration, virtualization and borderless network. Cisco encouraged its partners to develop new or adjacent markets, especially to develop the growth of small and medium enterprises market, to gain more business opportunities, and to work together to cope with the challenges the financial crisis has brought about. Meanwhile, Cisco announced the "Navigate to Accelerate" channel program, initiative establishes a holistic framework to help channel partners improve their business in four key areas: obtaining sufficient financing, generating new business from existing customers, meeting the changing needs of customers, and preparing for future growth.. Cisco was evolving its Value Incentive Program (VIP) to motivate its channel partners to invest in architectural capabilities around collaboration, virtualization and borderless networks.
Cisco also shared with partners its "Connecting Sichuan" yearly achievements and called for more partners to support the post-earthquake reconstruction. ECCOM contributed a lot alongside Cisco in supporting the reconstruction project.
On FY09 awards banquet held On August 27, ECCOM, with outstanding performance and contribution to the region, industry and AT fields in FY09, won six awards.
