ECCOM's Pass Love Aid Program - A Journey of Hope to Lawu

ECCOM regards social responsibility as the cornerstone of its long-term development. To help children in mountainous areas to receive fair education and grow up healthily in all aspects, the Company has launched a love care program, and took the initiative to lend a helping hand to The Bijiwan Primary School in Lawu Town, Dali, Yunnan, taking practical actions to improve the children's living and learning environment and contributing to the cultivation of talents benefitting the society. 

In November, 2018, through the coordination of the local government, ECCOM volunteers visited The Bijiwan Primary School for the first time, and communicated with local teachers and children for the first time, thus gaining a comprehensive understanding of the children's humble living environment. We made internal communication and an application based on the present situation and needs of The Bijiwan Primary School, and launched the "Pass Love" Aid Program. 

In September, 2019, to narrow the educational resources gap between the two places and make full use of its core business advantages, ECCOM established a remote educational video platform with the local government and SAIC Motor by donating equipment, so that the children of The Bijiwan Primary School could get access to better educational resources in Shanghai. 

From November, 2019 to June, 2020, with the cooperation of staff from the Company's General Manager Office and the HR Department, we donated a total of 470 autumn school uniforms to the students of The Bijiwan Primary School. 

In the future, ECCOM will actively fulfill its corporate social responsibility, repay the society and continue the love care program, hoping to greatly improve the teaching living & learning environment and teaching quality of "The Bijiwan Primary School, Lawu" through continuous aided construction and interaction.
